So I gave it another go tonight with the 100mm macro lens this time.  So much better, the close focusing ability was great.  I borrowed the 100 from Brandon, I also borrowed his 400mm 5.6 and his 1d mark IIn.  He’s relaxing on the beach in Mexico so I thought i’de give his left behind…

I sent my 30d to canon the other day to have the focusing recalibrated.  One too many drops and bangs in the ski bag have finally taken their toll.  So I broke down and found a great deal from a local guy and got a canon 5d.  Pretty stoked to be using a full frame…
