Barrett, Xander and I hit up Peavine this winter for a bike/photo session.
It was windy and severe blue, but we had a good time and came out with some cool stuff.

At a moments notice gear was gathered, gotta run.

A baseball team gathered at the base.
Some came slowly through the night, others rose early and dashed.
Snow collapsed on itself as they rose higher.
Hot sun beat upon their backs, cold snow freezing their fingers and toes.
Reaching the top, they gathered in down jackets eating and drinking.

In the hills behind my house is a network of forest service roads and obscure single-track trails.
Moose and I explore them a few times each week.
Sunset seems to be the ideal time to go on a walk.
